Centra online communication tool now available at Vandy March 4, 2007

Vanderbilt Information Technology Services (ITS) announces the availability of Centra Live, a powerful tool for online collaboration, communication, and learning. Using only a web browser with internet connectivity, anyone in the Vanderbilt Community can use Centra to take advantage of web conferencing and Voice over IP (VoIP) technologies. You’ll receive both video and voice via your computer.
Click for more information about Centra Live at Vanderbilt. To sign up for Centra, go to the Centra login page and click Create under New User. Centra is the newest addition to the ITS suite of collaboration tools. Web Meeting is also available. Web Meeting does not have VoIP, so a conference call is necessary to receive audio. While there is no cost for Centra’s VoIP, you will incur telephone charges for Web Meeting conference calls.
